Harvest Festival and Donation

Please join us this Sunday October 1st 2023 for our Harvest Festival service. As always we will be collecting non-perishable foods, toiletries, and other essential every day household items (e.g. washing up liquid). We ask everyone to “bring a tin”, but as much as you can bring to help those in need is much appreciated.

  • Tinned meat (hotdogs, meatballs etc.)
  • Tinned fish
  • Tinned fruit
  • Sponge/rice puddings
  • Biscuits and chocolate
  • Coffee (small jars)
  • Long-life juice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned veg (potatoes, carrots, green beans, tomatoes)
  • Tinned meals (spaghetti, chicken or veg curries, chilli)
  • Tinned soup
  • Jam and spreads
  • Shower gel
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet rolls
  • Female sanitary products
  • Washing up liquid
  • Laundry detergent pods

 Licensing and installation of our New Vicar

We are very excited and thankful that this Thursday, the 7th September, our new Vicar, the Revd Dr Catriona Laing, will be installed by the Bishop of London, Bishop Sarah, at 7.30pm.

This is a very wonderful and special day in our shared life in Christ. All are very warmly welcome at this service and drinks reception following.

Coronation Celebration!

We will be celebrating the coronation of King Charles III after the 10:30am Mass on Sunday May 7th with a Bring-and-Share parish lunch and bar in the reliable British sunshine, plenty of bunting and pageantry, and optional singing.

Fun Advent Events

Sunday 4th December 4.30pm St Nic Advent workshop and service (with enthronement of our Child Bishop). If you would like to come along please let Mthr Helen know so we have an idea of numbers, and if you would be free to help out serving hot chocolate or on a craft table please do message Mthr Helen, or speak to Claire.

Wednesday 7th December 12.30pm After our lunchtime Mass there will be lunch for the older members of our congregation.

Friday 9th December 8pm Parish Advent party Please come along to have a glass or two of something festive and help decorate our Christmas tree. All drinks will be provided, we’d be grateful if you could bring some nibbles to share (and your best christmas lights detangling skills). All adults are welcome.

Sunday 11th December 6.30pm 9 Lessons and Carols. This is a highlight of our church calendar – with thanks to Isabel, the children’s choir have been rehearsing very diligently – it should be a really joyful occasion!

Saturday 17th December 4pm Carols in the Churchyard Join us for some hearty carol singing outside  followed by hot chocolate and mince pies.
