We are very proud of our strong connections with Emmanuel School. We welcome the whole school to the church on a weekly basis, where the Eucharist is celebrated on the first Monday of the month. At weekly Collective Worship we make a point of introducing the pupils to the liturgy and doctrines that shape our faith, so that church will be a place that feels familiar to them for the rest of their lives. Our services include lively music, readings, and prayers led by the pupils and a strong emphasis on fostering curiosity and wonder.
If you are considering applying for a place at Emmanuel School for your child, please make very sure that you familiarise yourself with th admissions criteria. To apply via the church route, you and your child will need to attend a Eucharistic service six times a quarter for the eight successive quarters prior to the date of application. In other words: if you want a place for September 2028, you will apply in January 2028 and will need to have been coming twice a month since January 2026. If you have any questions regarding the church side of the admissions process or about registering your child’s attendance at church, please make sure you speak to the vicar.
