We’ll Meet Again is a recital of clarinet, piano and poetry about World War Two, which provides the link between the music and words, interweaving them into a continuous performance. It features tunes made famous at the time such as As Time Goes By, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and songs immortalised by Vera Lynn, as well as music composed by Glenn Miller, Cole
Porter and Joe Garland. With poems about The Blitz, The Battle of Britain, Normandy and other significant events, it also features poets who served in the war including Keith Douglas, Alun Lewis, John Jarmain and Spike Milligan.
